WIC This book taught me that it is ok to talk about the bad things in your life with others. When Ashley didn’t talk or even notice her problem, it only got worse. Isabelle, though, notice her problem, and after talking to her group leader, she didn’t want to perge and binge anymore. So instead of holding things in, that hurt or make you upset, you should talk about them to someone.

Some advice i have for the author is to make the book a little bit longer and more detailed. Also, the author could have had more detail about the basketball games and the election. Lastly, the author could have told who won the championship game at the end of the book. This is some advice i have for the author.

An unexpected event in the book was when the principal brought every player on the Lairds basketball team a Lard Butts t-shirt with there names and jersey numbers on them. When the principal walked into the locker room i thought he was just gonna say good luck and do a good job, but he came and gave them the t-shirts of Sam’s election name that everyone on the basketball team wanted to win the election.

Describing a character.
A character I would like to describe is Sam. She is very brave. She is brave by writing to a stranger about her personal problems. Also kind of caring because she is looking after Luke, her younger brother, and always looking for the beer bottles hidden by her dad, in hidden spots. She is kind of selfish by only really thinking about herself in this case. Who cares if her mom takes Yoga? Its not that big of a deal. Its a great way to get relaxed. Sam sometimes has a bad attitude also. Her feelings change from time to time.
