I think that if i would give advice it would be to Isabelle. I would say that you don’t need to try and be perfect. No matter how hard someone trys its impossible. Also even though you may think that the prettiest most popular girl is perfect think again shes not. She may have the same problems maybe even more. That would be my advice to Isabelle.

WIC~ From the book Perfect, you could learn to talk about your feelings and not to keep them inside like Isabelle did.  When she didn’t talk about how she felt about  her dad dying, she turned to bullimia.  Then when her mom took away Hanuka, it made her even more upset.  When Isabelle talked to her counsler it made her feel a lot better.  Since Isabelle could talk to someone she stopped using bullimia to get her feelings out.  I think we could all learn from that.

The unexpected event was when Isabelle was in her first day in group and then all of a sudden Ashley Barnum walked in the room. Ashley Barnum was the prettiest and most popular girl in the whole school. Isabelle thought she was perfect. But all her thoughts about that has changed.

Level 3-AC       I would tell Isabelle that she needs to care about what she thinks about herself and not what other people think about her.  She would destroy her life and probably not be able to fix it before it’s to late.  Turn your lfe around and get back on track before it is to late.

PK- I have some personal knowlage about some of the issues in this book. I know a girl who once had an eating disorder. Its not a pretty site. She wasn’t as calm about it as Isabelle was though. She did it a lot more. Isabelle was very lucky that she had someone to talk to about the probloms, she had Ashley and her Group leader. The girl i knew didn’t have this luck.

Level 2 CD- If I were to describe any character in this story it would be the main one, Isabelle.  I would describe her as a girl who is lost in the world and doesn’t know what to do with her life.  Also, she has no idea how to solve her depression of the lose of her father.  She doesn’t know how to handle her mother and sister’s new personalities, too.   She tries to make all of her problems go away by throwing up, but this ends up causing more of them.  She makes a new friend and joins a new crowd, yet she still hasn’t solved her issues.  In the end things get better.  Throughout the whole story I think that Isabelle is a nice, caring girl, but is too occupied with her problems to realize that everything will get better.  An example of this is she showed hatred to her sister by not helping her with advice, but in the end she couldn’t help but love April.

The unexpected event was when Isabelle was in her first day in group and then all of a sudden Ashley Barnum walked in the room. Ashley Barnum was the prettiest and most popular girl in the whole school. Isabelle thought she was perfect. She was so shocked that she couldn’t even talk. She was thinking something totally different then everyone else but she kept it to herself. This part in the book was really good.

i personally thought the book was good. The reason why i chose to read this book was because i wanted to know more about the eating disorder called bulemia. This book was about a girl whose about my age who is unhappy with the way she looks. She thinks shes fat… but shes not and her mom and sister and her group leader try to tell her that she is Perfect just the way she is..

I~ If I lived in the same setting as Isabelle I would be very unhappy.  Isabelle has a mother who won’t let her celebrate a holiday that is very special to her.  Also, her mother won’t let Isabelle or her sister talk about their father which must be very hard seeing as how they all miss him. Their mother also cries every night which must be very hard to hear.  If my mom cried every night I wouldn’t even want to be in the same house or anywhere I could hear it.  I know if that was or did happen to me I know I wouldn’t be able to take it.
