All around the book was good. Just some advice i have for the author would be to tell us if the team wins the championship game. He tells us they go to the final but never says who won the game.

I liked how the author did not drag out the story. I found that it made it more readable for me and enjoyable. However,   I felt that this made a lack of detail. So my advice for the author would be to add more detail. I felt he threw the characters at me real fast (not for real) .It made them feel less real and lovable. On top of that the ending felt a little half baked. Not that it was as much as bad, but that it felt boring and unreal. I would have gave it more structure, a more real ending. I think that he should have at least told who won the game. Then again that might have ruined the moral of the story.I think the author did a good job overall but it could have had more structure and detail.

Some advice i have for the author is to make the book a little bit longer and more detailed.  Also,  the author could have had more detail about the basketball games and the election.  Lastly,  the author could have told who won the championship game at the end of the book.  This is some advice i have for the author.

I personally thought the book was a good short read.  I finished it the same day I started I don’t know if that tells you anything or not.  I thought the best parts of the book were not on the basketball court but in the school.  That’s because that’s where the whole idea of the book started.  I thought it was cool how they held this election thing.  The only thing I didn’t like was that it didn’t say who won the championship.

Advise the Aurthor.
First, I think the author should have made this book longer.

Secondly, I think the author should have made the ending more descriptive and clear by at least telling the reader if the Lard Butts won the last game to or if they won the playoffs.

Lastly,th author could of said if anytime in the future the Lard Butts won a trophy. That is some advice for the author.

if i lived in a big town with a small school i would die.i  like it cause of the huge space you have to drive to go to and from places.Especially grocery shopping, cause of the long distance you have to drive to the store if you are hungry and when I’ hungry i get mean and the longer the meaner. Also to go outside and play, still we have to go miles to go play,to sum up i would hate were the lard butts live!!!=]

I    If i lived in this setting i wouldnt like it very much.  It seems like it would smell bad because it is out in the country.  The school is far from all the kids too so i wouldnt be able to walk home.  That and all the houses are spaced out so you wouldnt be able to play with your friends after school.  So i wouldnt like to live in this setting.

Daniel Galek describe a character

Filed under: Laggan Lard Butts — readingx08 @ 4:18 pm

The main characterof Laggan Lard Butts was Sam. Sam is in 8th grade and is on the basketball team. He would joke around and didn’t trust what he saw. I felt that he took events for granted throughout the story. The story had a few events where he would be the one saying I doubt this will happen or that will happen. While people talk to Sam he would make weird comments to himself. When you sum it he is a good person but he finds himself in all sorts of trouble.

I think there was a very unexpected event near the end of the book. This would be the basketball team making the playoffs, yet alone going to the championship. I wish it would have told us who won the championship game at least. Also i figured “Lard Butts” was going to win the name election.
