One thing I really liked about the book was how the author changed from each girls perspective. It wasn’t just one person the whole time telling the story. It kept the book more intresting because you just stop in a section and start a new girl and you are anxious to read the next part of the first girl. The only thing I would change in the book was organizing the letters from each girl to another. It would show a letter but there was a response way later in the book and I got really confused.

A problem in this story was that the 4 friends, (Bridget, Lena, Tibby, and Carmen) had to spend the summer apart for the first time. They resolved this problem by taking turns with the magical pants they found that fit all of them. Each girl got the pants for a week, and then sent them to one of the other 3 girls. They also wrote letters to each other to tell all the good or bad things that were going on. Although they weren’t together for the summer, each time they sent the pants to one of the other girls, it went with a little bit of the previous friend.

level 2 Pe: I feel like i have some personal connections between me life and the book. First off, alotof my relationships with my friends are like the relationships between the girls. Also there are some traits in the girls the i see in me and my friends. I also relate to the whole” first time really apart from your friends storyline,”… this summer ill be gone more than ill be home so it’ll be hard not to have the twenty-four seven support of friends. I really love these books and definitely think that the 2nd,3rd and 4th books get even better.

My chararcter I am going to talk about is Bridget. She has a outgoing energetic attitude. She loves and cherishes nature and the beauty of the beach. She is always wanting to have fun. But sometimes she goes too far like with Eric. She should of known that he is too old and she isnt allowed to date the coach.

I think that Carmen is very negitive toward her self through out this book. It really bothers me because she is always calling her self fat and saying that her friends are so much prettier then she is. Also Carmen won’t give her dads family a chance, just because she didn’t know about them untill she got to her dads house doesn’t mean they are going to be mean toward her. If she would have given them a chance she might have had a better time with her father over the summer.

so far this is a good book, im really enjoying reading it. this book is nothing like the movie its actually better. its about 4 friends who find these pair that fits every single one of them and since its there first summer away from each other they decide to send the pants to one another after keeping them for a week.

There are only a few reasons why i chose to read the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. At first it wasn’t one of my main choices, but I was one of the last people to pick which book i wanted. My first 2 choices weren’t available anymore, so i chose Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants because I’ve seen the movie and wanted to see if it was similar to it. I’ve also heard that it was a really good book from a few people that have already read it. Now i am glad i chose the book though, because it is very interesting to me and I’m excited to keep reading and find out what happens next!
